an Illustrator based in Olympia, Washington
Nina lives on occupied Stehtsasamish territory with a husky-chihuahua named Rory. She grew up in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains, but spent her last two years of high school in southwest Georgia. She works for an IT company and spends her free time pursuing creative hobbies.
Her dad created the popular video game, Lode Runner, two years before she was born. He died by suicide in 2014.
Outside of the arts and crafts you can find in the portfolio section, Nina spends a lot of time thinking about how to dismantle white supremacy, the patriarchy, and capitalism. One of the ways she does something about all these thoughts is to offer free services to Black and Indigenous folks of marginalized genders. She also volunteers her graphic design services for NowMattersNow.org and runs a semi-anonymous mental health blog.
